No matter where you are, we always need our BMC family to keep us in their prayers.  Whether you come annually or haven't visited in years, your prayers are deeply appreciated.

Throughout the year, we have several "calls to action" posted on our facebook page, such as requests for special donations, suggestions to follow new pages, or vote for us in contests.  Follow us there to find out what actions you can take from the comfort of your home.

Every person has a gift to share, and the Ministry Center has been blessed by the generosity of others.  We always appreciate new interest to get involved, be it a one-time project or a weekly commitment.

We are also pleased to be a service point for students needing to complete hours for their Wythe-Bland Foundation scholarships.  Contact the office directly to set up an interview.

Local volunteers are encouraged to consider what, if any specific project they are interested in, and speak with our center's Director, Dee Dee Hoosier, to discuss opportunities to serve that fit with your availability and talents.  Email Dee Dee today!

The staff and volunteers would be thrilled to have you join them in their effort of serving the people of Southwest Virginia and southern West Virginia.  Throughout the year, families, church teams, or school groups find their way to Bland to work on construction, assist in weekly operations, or help organize a special annual project.

Opportunities to serve range from building handicap ramps and completing home repair projects to painting or spring cleaning for elderly citizens.  There are also options for those that would prefer to stay on our campus by assisting in the clothes closet or food pantry.  Teams even help us organize special events such as Christmas or school supply distributions.  We even welcome dental professionals to perform free services to area patients in our fully-stocked, three-room operatory.

Although our summer schedule fills up fast, don't hesitate to call and check availability for our mission house, which can comfortably accomodate your team of up to 20 volunteers.  During the summer, more housing arrangements are available.
